The cucumbers have been hanging out with the zucchini and have really been
multiplying this summer! Dill is one of my favorite spices/herbs, I love how it tastes and smells! You can enjoy the fragrance in the garden and I even like to put it in a fresh floral arrangement!
We probably eat healthier in the 4 months of summer, than we do the rest of the year!
Here they are all bottled up and ready to put on the shelves for later! Even though gardening is a lot of work, I really enjoy being outside, and I'm hoping we have an extra loooonnng and beautiful fall!

ReplyDeleteWhen i was a very young bride we bought our first home. It didnt even have a closet (LOL yes... that small) but it did have a fantastic garden. That year i made pickles!!! I love dill pickles.

ReplyDeleteYum! There is nothing better than homemade dill pickles. We have had fried green tomatoes from our garden recently and they were yummy!
