Thrillers, Fillers, and Spillers. . .
The picture above has all 3 elements. . .
I recently received a flyer from one of my favorite Nurserys in our area. . .It had the recipe for creating a beautiful potted container. . .They are very well known here in the upper valley for their dazzling containers. Below are the simple directions they have shared for a successful potted creation. Thrillers, Fillers, and Spillers!!!
  1. Thrillers. . .the tall spiky plants that set the tone and make a statement.
  2. Fillers. . .those colorful mounds that give your container a foundation and theme.
  3. Spillers. . .the cascading splashes of color and variety that add drama and personality.
