The picture above has all 3 elements. . .
I recently received a flyer from one of my favorite Nurserys in our area. . .It had the recipe for creating a beautiful potted container. . .They are very well known here in the upper valley for their dazzling containers. Below are the simple directions they have shared for a successful potted creation. Thrillers, Fillers, and Spillers!!!
- Thrillers. . .the tall spiky plants that set the tone and make a statement.
- Fillers. . .those colorful mounds that give your container a foundation and theme.
- Spillers. . .the cascading splashes of color and variety that add drama and personality.

Rooting & Blooming medium used week 4.
(Supertunias need fertilized 2x per week)
I can hardly wait to try out these 'secrets' for successful container gardening. . . .
I love the pictures, the container with the tulips and bulbs is delightful, you would have to think ahead for that one!
ReplyDeleteSuzie .. Thanks for the tips. I'm always hesitant about doing planters.. not sure what to put in them and where to place what I do. Thanks for sharing.
